A UNIQUE BOUTIQUE MALL CONCEPT

 

500 Shaw Zentrum is a three level Neighborhood Boutique Mall with gross floor area of almost 15,000 sqm. on a 5,000 sqm. property. It is anchored by a 2,500 square meter Supermarket on the 2nd level and a Children’s Activity & Learning Membership Club (gymnastics, ballet, theater, taekwondo, art school & party hall) on the 3rd level.In addition, we have four additional floors  (7,906 sqm. gross floor area) occupied by Sykes with over 1,500 personnel.

 

High Density Area and High Vehicular Traffic

500 Shaw Zentrum is surrounded by multiple residential high rise buildings adjacent to Wack-Wack Country Club and along Shaw Blvd itself.  Our mall is within the immediate vicinity of affluent households of Wack-Wack Subdivision , condominiums and the upper income households of San Juan from Mabini st, Wilson st.,  P. Guevara st. and their surrounding neighborhoods.

The nearby neighborhoods of Mandaluyong and San Juan are thickly populated, as well, with multiple medium-rise office and residential buildings, apartments, townhouses and homes.

A constant large volume of private and public vehicles travel along Shaw Blvd. in both directions, as a main artery from Manila, San Juan and Mandaluyong to EDSA.   Shaw Blvd is also the alternate route from Makati passing thru Mandaluyong going towards San Juan, Manila or Quezon City, and vice versa, that are avoiding the heavy traffic along EDSA.

 

Customer’s Convenience is our utmost concern.

Unique to a mall of this size and for the convenience of our customers, we are providing parking on the lower ground, ground, 2nd and 3rd levels giving a total of 160 parking spaces, equivalent to one third (1/3) of our center’s gross floor area.  Customers may be dropped off and enter the center thru the main entrance on Shaw Boulevard, or through the covered left side driveway entrance or through the 2nd and 3rd level carparks.

Target Market

 

We are targeting the middle to upper income families with cars.

One of our main attractions is the Events Pavilion, a 725 square meter venue for rental for all kinds of occasions.  Even people from beyond our main trade area will come because of the convenience of public transportation in both directions and the ease of access to our center.

We are also targeting the upper income families that can afford to enroll their children in Gymnastics, Ballet, Taekwondo, Theater or spend for tutorials, art lessons or cooking classes.  Our shopping center is pioneering a Children’s Membership Club that makes all these concepts affordable, comfortable, safe and available under one roof.

 

Tenant Mix

We have accepted only non-fast food family dining concepts to locate in our center such as Shakeys PizzaPho HoaArmy Navy, Size Matters and a blockbuster Filipino concept called Chic-Boy run by the Pier 1 group.

Unique to our center is a Glamour Zone with its own entrance from Shaw Blvd. and set apart from the main hallway by a glass wall and doors.  The GlamZone as we call it, will have a 125 square meter sitting lounge with tastefully chosen furniture resembling a hotel’s lobby.  The GlamZone is a one-stop-haven for the busy and modern woman’s needs.   The various classy salons (hair, nails, waxing, derma, aesthetic center, wellness center, etc) will be situated around the lobby.

 

The Developers

This development is a project of LICA Management, Incwww.licagroup.com with Commercial Centers Development Consultants (CCDC) handling the planning, leasing and operation of the shopping center.

Our supermarket is Super 8, the retail arm of Suy Sing Corporation, the largest nationwide supplier of supermarkets and groceries.  Super 8 took over the operations of the Uniwide supermarkets in 2006 and have opened multiple Metro Manila and provincial locations since then.
